You did a beautiful job tracing this image, it looks good so far. I wish that there was just a little bit more going on in the photo though. Maybe something more in the background, like a building or even birds?
What you did with this picture is working really well. I like the picture you chose to work with. I think once you add the patterns it will look great.
Much better with the expanded composition but it almost feels a little empty on the far left now. Perhaps some other element to weight the figure on the right?
Im still adding the background colors.. then ill add patterns on certain areas to create depth.

ReplyDeleteThe picture is really great for adding in flat areas with pattern. I can see how the tension will exist even before you add it.

ReplyDeleteI would put some patterns in the background when you start putting them in.. and that would help to make the ground look like it has depth also.
